How can Lifelight be used?

There are multiple ways in which Lifelight can be used:

Lifelight at home

By monitoring blood pressure and pulse at home, patients can make fewer trips to the GP surgery or hospital and healthcare professionals can save valuable clinical time.

Lifelight also allows data to be monitored continuously with results fed directly back to the patient’s record ahead in advance of any remote or in-person consultation.

This can lead to earlier disease detection, a better all-round healthcare experience and ultimately better health outcomes.

Lifelight in hospital

Measuring blood pressure and pulse immediately on arrival is essential to assessing and prioritising patients in an Emergency Room environment.

Lifelight enables this without requiring the presence of a nurse so that an instant assessment can be made.

This helps to accelerate the provision of urgently required medical care, reduce waiting times for emergency patients and help reach treatment targets.

Lifelight in pharma and medtech

Monitoring blood pressure and pulse is an essential element of progressing a patient through a clinical trial.

Lifelight enables this to happen continuously without the presence of a healthcare professional with results recorded in the patient’s trial record.

This potentially allows trials to complete more quickly and new drugs and devices brought to market faster.

Lifelight in insurance

Life and healthcare insurance providers require a blood pressure and pulse reading for any prospective new policyholder. Existing customers may also welcome the opportunity to self-monitor blood pressure to detect possible CVD.

Currently, an in-person paramedical examination is required but Lifelight allows data to be captured remotely and integrated into an existing app via an SDK.

This reduces the wait time for the applicant, makes it less likely that their application will lapse and provides a potential point of difference against competitors.
