Why Partner with Lifelight?

With Covid-19 forcing the medical industry to look for smarter solutions to eliminate or restrict physical interactions for healthcare services, remote patient monitoring, a powerful aspect of the telehealth revolution, has become the new norm in managing healthcare.

By integrating Lifelight into existing healthcare platforms, not only are vital signs captured remotely and safely for both patient and clinician, but a much more holistic view of the patient is also derived.  Lifelight providing the physiological data critical for assessing health and allowing the most appropriate clinical decisions to be actioned by professionals using the unique insights provided by the respective telehealth platform – all driving improved patient outcomes.

With Lifelight embedded into your platform it will be bolstered by truly novel AI-driven technology –  Lifelight was one of the first recipients of a prestigious UK NIHR & NHSX AI in Health Award and recently won the best pitch award for a pilot project with Novo Nordisk at the pan-European Startup Creasphere Expo, Europe’s largest healthcare innovation platform.

Scalable healthcare monitoring without the cost

How do you integrate Lifelight into your platform?

Lifelight Software Development Kit (SDK)

Lifelight is available through a fully compatible SDK, which can be embedded into iOS and Android platforms.  Integration is simple – in just a few days Lifelight will provide vital signs measurements, saving months on your own regulatory path.

This means that Lifelight can be opened in context with the patient’s biometric information. Access token security protocols allow for the resulting measurements to pass securely to the application back-end server in an HIE compliant FHIR format.

Our service wrapper allows some UI colour changes, but is still a clinically regulated solution and carries the Lifelight logo.

“I feel Lifelight is a revolution in medical care, supporting the shifting paradigm in telehealth and demand for remote patient monitoring. With Lifelight we get the data in a very unintrusive way from the user, lowering the barriers of what it takes to obtain data, which is obviously hugely important for remote monitoring, research and the overall health of global populations.”

FAQs – Common Partner Questions

Is your SDK available now and if so, how do we access it?2021-07-07T00:36:08+01:00
  • Yes, both Apple and Android are available now and we can make the SDK and Readme accessible.
What platforms is the Lifelight SDK currently supporting?2021-07-07T00:38:38+01:00
  • Apple and Android
Is there an SDK or API integration option for passing data to our EHR or is it exclusively HL7 FHIR?2021-07-07T00:40:37+01:00
  • The SDK can pass measurements directly on the device or via HL7 FHIR. Both options can be used.
Can you support integration with a web-based platform?2021-07-07T00:41:51+01:00
  • Yes, we have a ‘deep-link’ option whereby the Lifelight app can be launched standalone on the device from the web-based platform/browser.
Do you plan to support a web-based user flow, rather than the current mobile app/SDK based flow?2021-07-07T00:43:17+01:00
  • This can be achieved using the deep-link option. A deep-link can be provided within a website, application or browser interface, which patients can click to start Lifelight as a separate application on the mobile device. If Lifelight is not present on the device, the deep-link will open the App Store at Lifelight for download. In both cases, any biometric information contained within the deep-link message is passed to Lifelight and prepopulates the application.
Is there an average timeline requirement for implementing including EHR integration?2021-07-07T00:44:22+01:00
  • Although system complexities vary, we have had several clients implement the SDK in just a few days. Connection to APIs or on-device communication is quite simple and we provide full instructions.
Is documentation around the SDK and HL7 integration available for review?2021-07-07T00:45:38+01:00
