26th July 2020: Lifelight are set to benefit from a continuity support package to help businesses mitigate the effects of COVID-19

  • £90 million of funding to support current Innovate UK participants who have an ongoing project
  • Investment comes as part of a wider £1.25 billion business support package announced by Chancellor Rishi Sunak

Up to £90m was made available in continuity grants, paid upfront, to SMEs and third sector organisations who are existing Innovate UK award holders to ensure the success and delivery of new innovation during the COVID-19 epidemic.

COVID-19 has accelerated the demand for Lifelight as it provides the ability to safely remote monitor patients at scale.  The funding will support this work, being a 100% non-contact device, Lifelight enables the rapid measurement of a resident/patient vital signs whilst avoiding unnecessary contact for both patient and healthcare worker as well as minimising patient distress.
