An Analysis of Lifelight First performance in real-world clinical use

Background

Lifelight First is a highly innovative technological solution for vital signs using the small colour changes recorded from the face by the camera in a standard smart device (e.g. smartphone or tablet) over 30-60 seconds. This report presents the results and conclusions from analysing data collected in the VISION D trial at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (PHT) to assess the safety and performance of Lifelight First on a large number of individuals, including those with abnormal vital signs, and in real-world clinical conditions.  Lifelight First has been developed by UK SME, xim Limited.

This report may be updated as future releases demonstrate improved performance. This is because Lifelight First uses Artificial Intelligence technology for the development of its algorithms, and the data collected from VISION D can be continuously re-analysed to allow continual optimisation.
